Geographical Changes: The North Pole

Where I come from, the North Pole is a large continent covered for most of the year in ice. Capt Scott, a British explorer, died trying to get to the North Pole and became a hero of sorts. NOT HERE THOUGH!

Here the North Pole is just sea and sea ice. Here Capt Scott died trying to find the South Pole, not the North.

Anyone else remember Scott trying to get to the North Pole and the North Pole being a continent?

  1. im pretty sure every ancient map I've seen had a continent with 4 inlets bordered by mountains on the Americas side. a few things I've noticed. Since when was Libya's coast not a near straight line? also Sicily is way too close to mainland Italy. S. America now has a weird flat feature on its north coast that was never there and it sits way out in the Atlantic instead of directly south of M. America. New Zealand is now further south than Australia and there are several Huge Islands in very close proximity to Australia. the Asian peninsula just look wrong and the island that used to sit due south of India now sits nw of its original position. Florida used to angle out into the pacific, now it looks flaccid and Cuba is 4x the size it was and much further from Florida. I could go on with the shape of countries, such as Israel and the strange point at the bottom that didn't exist. the Atlantic ocean used to have a spine if volcanic origin. it stretched from n. america all the way almost as far as the tip of z America. and it made the Atlantic Ocean a generally uniform distance across. this volvanic rift never seemed to reach as far now, leaving a. America very, very close to Africa compared to the world i grew up in. i was fascinated with geography so I only mention things im 100 percent sure are Mandela Effected. i have scores more based on cities, empires, egyptology, history, anatomy, and computer science but I'm not 100% sure. the geographical changes are 100% accurate according to the maps i studied through 12 yrs of th 80s and 90s, are not in line with the geography of EARTH less 30 years later.
